Anastasya is a Boston-based writer. Born in Moscow, Russia, she moved to the US in 1991. An interest in international and cultural studies led her to Georgetown University, where she earned a dual degree in French and Studio Art, and then to the London School of Economics for an MSc in Media & Communications.
Next stop was Copenhagen, where she developed a niche writing for many of Denmark’s top, global design, tech, bioscience and lifestyle companies.
Today, once again in Boston, Anastasya continues to tell the stories of humans who are bettering the world, most recently as the lead writer at the Harvard Innovation Labs. She is pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing at Emerson College and working on a collection of stories, real and imagined.
Anastasya’s writing has appeared in WBUR’s Cognoscenti, Harvard Innovation Labs venture stories, Design Museum Magazine, Disney’s Babble, and The YUME Edit, as well as on her blogs on CulturePeel and Medium.com.
